Lenskart Solutions Limited has announced a disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations regarding the acquisition of an additional 1.80% stake in Dimension NXG Private Limited (popularly known as Ajna or AjnaLens), an associate entity, for a total cash consideration of INR 79.97 million. Prior to this transaction, Lenskart held a 7.21% shareholding, which has now increased to an aggregate of 9.01% of the fully diluted share capital of Ajna. The target entity operates in the smart glasses software application development and extended reality (XR) space.
Dimension NXG Private Limited is an Indian private company incorporated on November 12, 2014, specializing in manufacturing, distribution, and sales of augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) solutions. According to the notice, Ajna recorded a turnover of INR 103.64 million for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, compared to INR 127.91 million in FY 24-25 and INR 159.68 million in FY 23-24. This strategic move is aimed at strengthening Lenskart’s association with the XR, artificial intelligence, and smart wearable technology ecosystem. Furthermore, Mr. Peyush Bansal, Promoter and Managing Director of Lenskart, serves as a Director on the Board of Ajna, making the transaction a related party transaction executed on an arm’s length basis.
