Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has received a Letter of Award valued at ₹179.43 crore (inclusive of GST) from Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML) for the supply of specialised medium voltage (MV) and low voltage underground power cables. The order covers approximately 871 kms of 33 kV, 11 kV, and associated 1.1 kV cables.
The awarded cables are specially engineered water-tree retardant (TR-XLPE) medium voltage cables featuring longitudinal and radial water-blocking construction, specifically designed to withstand Mumbai’s aggressive coastal, low-lying, and heavy monsoon operating conditions. This marks the third consecutive year that Diamond Power has secured this contract from AEML, highlighting its technical capabilities, in-house testing infrastructure, and proven delivery track record on urban distribution networks. The cables are manufactured using catenary continuous vulcanisation (CCV) lines to prevent water treeing and dielectric degradation over a multi-decade service life.
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited is an integrated manufacturer of power transmission equipment, producing low voltage, medium voltage, high voltage, and extra-high voltage power cables, control and instrumentation cables, solar DC and EV charging cables, and conductors. The company serves various sectors including power, infrastructure, oil and gas, renewables, real estate, and data centers, operating primarily from its integrated manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat. Driven by India’s massive grid modernization, renewable energy integration, and urban underground cabling push, the company has strengthened its order book with high-tech specialty products.
For the financial year 2026, Diamond Power posted a consolidated revenue of ₹1,91,010 lakh (up 71% year-on-year) and a net profit surging 355% to ₹15,817 lakh compared to the previous year. The company’s cumulative order book crossed approximately ₹3,498 crore, bolstered by robust demand for its premium offerings like EHV cables, AL-59, and HTLS conductors. The stock continues to attract widespread market attention amid a multi-year power infrastructure supercycle in India.
