Highway Infrastructure Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) valued at Rs. 220,66,33,332/- for a period of two years. The contract encompasses the collection of user fees, operation of toll plazas, and the deployment of four patrol-cum-safety vehicles with designated personnel along the Gorakhpur Link Expressway. The total value comprises Rs. 105,07,77,777/- payable for the first year, which will then be subject to a 10% annual escalation for the second year.
Highway Infrastructure Limited operates within the infrastructure sector, specializing in the development, construction, and maintenance of roads, highways, and associated operational facilities like toll collection. The company has been expanding its footprint across domestic infrastructure projects, backed by a robust order book in both its Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and toll-operation segments.
During the latest reported quarterly financial period of fiscal year 2026, Highway Infrastructure Limited demonstrated considerable top-line growth, posting total revenue of Rs. 277.20 crores. This represented a significant increase of 115.8% on a quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) basis compared to Rs. 128.43 crores, and a 104.4% increase year-over-year (YoY) from Rs. 135.62 crores. Profit after tax for the quarter stood at Rs. 8.69 crores, marking a 38.8% growth QoQ from Rs. 6.26 crores, though registering a 27.3% decrease YoY from Rs. 11.96 crores due to elevated operational expenses.
