Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has officially announced that it has secured additional orders worth ₹572 Crore since its last disclosure on June 22, 2026. These new orders encompass a diverse range of products and services, including communication equipment, avionics, encryptors, tank sub-systems, Electronic Voting Machines (EVM), batteries, components, upgrades, and various services.
The company, a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, is a key player in India’s strategic electronics sector. BEL has been actively expanding its capabilities, having secured orders totaling ₹30,000 crore during the 2025-26 fiscal year. Recent developments for the company in 2025 and 2026 include signing multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with entities like DGQA, IISc, and various private firms to enhance indigenous design, cybersecurity, and advanced electronic warfare systems. As of April 1, 2026, the company’s total order book stood at approximately ₹74,000 crore.

Prominent institutional investors include Kotak Mahindra Asset Management, Nippon Life India Asset Management, HDFC Life Insurance, and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), all of whom hold significant shares in the company.
