Arvind Limited has announced that its Board of Directors approved the raising of funds for an aggregate amount of up to ₹600 Crores. This capital will be mobilized through the issuance of equity shares, convertible or redeemable preference shares, debentures, warrants, or other eligible securities, including Global Depository Receipts (GDRs), American Depository Receipts (ADRs), or Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs). The Board has authorized the company’s Finance Committee to determine the specific timing, pricing, and terms of this issuance. Furthermore, the company will initiate a Postal Ballot process to obtain necessary shareholder approval for these resolutions.

Arvind Limited is a prominent Indian textile and apparel manufacturer known for its integrated operations spanning fabric production, garment manufacturing, advanced materials, and branded apparel retail. The company operates a diversified ecosystem that includes denim, woven fabrics, and technical textiles, supplying global apparel brands while maintaining a strong domestic retail presence through partnerships. In 2026, the company has seen significant market attention, with its stock price rallying due to strategic shifts toward becoming a garments-led business and positive investor sentiment surrounding the easing of textile import duties. Management has expressed a commitment to maintaining double-digit growth in its advanced materials and garment segments throughout the current fiscal year.

As of the fiscal year 2025, Arvind reported a consolidated annual revenue of ₹8,329 Crores and a profit after tax of ₹353 Crores. The company continues to prioritize sustainability, recently signing a 25-year power purchase agreement to increase its renewable energy consumption to 60%, a move expected to enhance EBITDA margins by FY27. While global trade dynamics and tariff adjustments present some pressure on margins, the company is focusing on scaling volumes and operational efficiency to navigate these challenges. The company is led by Chairman Sanjay Lalbhai, who has been instrumental in Arvind’s long-term evolution as a textile conglomerate.
