Borosil Limited has officially announced the commissioning of a new manufacturing unit in the state of Rajasthan. This facility, established through the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Stylenest India Limited, is designed with three double-wall lines for the production of vacuum-insulated stainless-steel flasks, bottles, and containers.
The manufacturing unit, which was first intimated to the exchanges on November 7, 2025, has now achieved a significant operational milestone. Commercial production from two of the three installed double-wall lines successfully commenced on June 30, 2026. The company further noted that production from the third double-wall line is currently anticipated to begin during the second quarter of the 2026-27 financial year.
Borosil Limited is a prominent Indian consumer products company with a legacy extending over six decades, best known for its microwavable glassware, storage solutions, and kitchen appliances, as well as its “Larah” opalware brand. The company has been actively expanding its manufacturing footprint, notably through its investment in vacuum-insulated stainless-steel products and the commissioning of a 7.2 MWp captive solar power project in Rajasthan. In early 2026, the company also saw transitions in its management team, including the appointment of a new Company Secretary.
For the quarter ended March 31, 2026, Borosil Limited reported revenue of ₹291.77 crore, representing a 7.08% increase compared to the same quarter in the previous year. However, the company’s net profit for the same period stood at ₹10.59 crore, a decline of 4.94% year-on-year. On a quarter-over-quarter basis, the company experienced a 15.48% decrease in revenue and a 55.78% decline in net profits. While the company maintains significant institutional interest, including holding by DSP Small Cap Fund, the promoter family—the Kherukas—remains the primary stakeholder in the business.
