This decision, approved by the Board of Directors on April 13, 2026, stems from changes in regulatory requirements that have made the subsidiary’s original business objectives unviable. The company clarified that this subsidiary currently has no active business operations and its closure will not materially impact the parent company.

Strategic Subsidiary Closure Details The winding-up process follows earlier intimations made by the company in May and July 2025. As per the formal disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, Mankind Pharma Lanka contributed 0% to the consolidated turnover and net worth of the listed entity during the last financial year. The Board meeting, which finalized this structural change, was conducted efficiently within a fifteen-minute window between 3:00 P.M. and 3:15 P.M..

Business Operations and 2025 Milestones Mankind Pharma is a leading Indian pharmaceutical giant known for popular brands like Manforce, Prega News, and Gas-O-Fast. In 2025, the company significantly expanded its specialty portfolio by acquiring Bharat Serums and Vaccines (BSV) for its women’s health and gynecology expertise. During 2025, the company also launched several new products in the US market, expanding its international footprint. Additionally, in August 2025, Mankind Pharma issued an interim equity dividend to its shareholders.

Financial Growth and Investor Landscape For the financial year ending March 31, 2025, Mankind Pharma reported a 10% annual revenue growth, reaching approximately ₹12,207 Crores, with a net profit of nearly ₹2,006 Crores. The domestic business alone crossed the ₹10,000 Crore milestone in 2025, driven by strong performance in chronic therapies like cardiac and anti-diabetic segments. The company’s growth has attracted attention from various institutional investors, while the promoters continue to hold a significant stake in the business.
