The Board of Directors of Coal India Limited (CIL) met on February 12, 2026, to approve the unaudited financial results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2025. The company reported a consolidated revenue from operations of ₹34,924.19 Crores for Q3 FY26, representing an increase of 15.69% compared to the previous quarter’s revenue of ₹30,186.70 Crores. However, on a year-on-year (YoY) basis, revenue declined by 5.25% from ₹36,858.62 Crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The consolidated profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹7,165.98 Crores, marking a significant growth of 68.11% from ₹4,262.64 Crores in Q2 FY26. Conversely, compared to Q3 FY25, the profit witnessed a decrease of 15.61% from ₹8,491.22 Crores. Additionally, the Board declared a third interim dividend of ₹5.50 per equity share for the financial year 2025-26.
