Prostarm Info Systems Limited has been declared the L-1 bidder by South Eastern Railway for a significant solar power project. The contract involves the supply, installation, and erection of a Solar Power Plant at the SRC Jurisdiction (Phase 2). The total consideration for this prestigious domestic order is valued at INR 13.43 Crores.

According to the official announcement, the project includes a Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC) for a period of five years following installation. The entire execution of the order is expected to be completed within a timeframe of 12 months. This win reinforces the company’s growing footprint in the renewable energy sector and its ability to secure large-scale government contracts through competitive bidding.

Incorporated in 2008, Prostarm Info Systems Limited is a leading provider of power conditioning and energy storage equipment in India, specializing in UPS systems, solar hybrid inverters, and lithium-ion battery packs. The company operates a robust pan-India sales and service network, catering to critical sectors like BFSI, healthcare, and defense. In recent updates from 2025, the company secured a massive INR 158.68 crore order from the Government of Maharashtra for CCTNS IT infrastructure and incorporated a new subsidiary, “Prostarm Karnataka BESS,” to further its energy storage initiatives.

For the quarter ended September 2025, the company reported a total income of INR 67.43 Crores, marking a 21.0% growth on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. However, the net profit for the same period was INR 8.27 Crores, which reflected a year-on-year (YoY) decline of 40.5% despite a sharp sequential recovery. The company’s shareholding pattern as of December 2025 shows a strong promoter holding of 72.82%, with individual promoters including Vikas Shyamsunder Agarwal and Ram Agarwal holding significant stakes.
