Replus Engitech Private Limited, a subsidiary of HEG Advanced Materials Limited, has received a domestic order from Indus Towers Limited for the supply of Lithium-Ion Battery Banks, amounting to Rs. 217.56 Crore inclusive of GST. The execution of this order is scheduled on or before March 31, 2027, or by such extended date as mutually agreed upon.
The order entails the supply of advanced Lithium-Ion Battery Banks to modernize telecom tower backup systems. The contract was awarded by a domestic entity, Indus Towers Limited, and does not fall under related party transactions, confirming it is conducted at arm’s length.
HEG Advanced Materials Limited (formerly known as HEG Limited) recently completed a corporate reorganization and demerger, separating its core graphite electrode business into HEG Graphite Limited while positioning itself as a clean technology transition and energy storage solutions player. Replus Engitech acts as its specialized arm focusing on battery energy storage systems (BESS). Securing a tier-1 customer like Indus Towers marks a major milestone in transitioning from traditional industrial manufacturing toward clean energy solutions.
During the quarterly financial results announced for Q1 FY27 prior to the demerger, the company posted a consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 681 Crore, marking an 11% year-on-year growth compared to Rs. 613 Crore in Q1 FY26. The consolidated net profit stood at Rs. 122 Crore, delivering a 16% increase year-on-year compared to Rs. 743 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Operating EBITDA for the quarter was reported at Rs. 151 Crore.
