GMM Pfaudler Limited has formally released an official notice regarding the outcome of its board meeting held on September 15, 2026. The notice details key leadership and structural changes at the executive management level, specifically outlining the transition of the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) position.
The notice highlights the resignation of the current Group CFO, Mr. Alexander Poempner, who has decided to step down to pursue opportunities outside the GMM Pfaudler Group. Mr. Poempner will relinquish his executive duties following the approval of the upcoming Q2 FY27 financial results in November 2026 and will remain with the organization through December 31, 2026, to ensure a seamless operational handover. To succeed him, the board has approved the appointment of Mr. Ankit Nayyar as the new Group CFO and KMP, effective November 4, 2026. Mr. Nayyar, who joined the company as Deputy CFO in May 2026, brings nearly two decades of extensive global financial leadership experience across pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, manufacturing, and financial services.
GMM Pfaudler is a globally recognized market leader specializing in corrosion-resistant glass-lined equipment and comprehensive process technologies for the chemical, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors. The company has increasingly diversified its operational footprint and product portfolio—spanning mixing systems, filtration, drying, and engineered systems. Recent strategic updates from 2025 emphasize major international contract wins, such as a EUR 33.2 million (approximately INR 330 crores) order secured by its German subsidiary, Pfaudler Normag Systems GmbH, for custom acid recovery systems. Brokerage reports from 2025 and 2026 highlight that despite past industry downcycles, the firm is expanding its order intake pipeline into emerging non-traditional segments like defense, nuclear power, semiconductors, and oil and gas.
During the last reported quarterly financial performance periods of fiscal year 2025/2026, the company demonstrated resilience with solid revenue generation and order backlog expansion. For instance, consolidated revenues scaled to notable levels (such as INR 902 crores during Q2 FY26) alongside a robust order backlog exceeding INR 2,146 crores, driven by steady domestic and international demand. The company maintains a diversified institutional shareholder base, with prominent mutual funds, alternate investment funds, and domestic insurance companies holding key stakes alongside the Indian promoter group (the Patel family), which holds roughly 25.18% of the equity.
