Zodiac Energy Limited has announced the receipt of a significant purchase order from a domestic entity registered in Uttar Pradesh. The contract entails the comprehensive supply, installation, and commissioning of a Ground Mounted Solar PV Power Plant with a capacity of 2500 Kwp.

According to the regulatory disclosure, the project is scheduled for execution and completion before December 31, 2026. Due to mutual confidentiality agreements, the name of the awarding domestic entity has not been publicly disclosed. The company confirmed that the contract does not fall under related party transactions, ensuring the deal is conducted at arm’s length with no promoter group interest.

Headquartered in Ahmedabad, Zodiac Energy Limited operates as a prominent player in the renewable energy sector, specializing in solar power plant execution, rooftop installations, solar water pumping systems, and battery energy storage solutions. The company has maintained a steady momentum in winning renewable infrastructure contracts, including an open-access captive ground-mounted solar plant order secured in Gujarat earlier. These project wins significantly boost its order book and expand its execution footprint across different states.

During the financial year 2025-2026, Zodiac Energy posted robust financial performance with a total revenue of ₹545.94 Crores, marking a strong 33.26% increase year-on-year compared to ₹409.67 Crores in the previous fiscal period. The annual net profit stood at ₹21.07 Crores, reflecting a 5.51% growth over the preceding year’s ₹19.97 Crores. The company continues to attract strong market interest as it scales its operations within India’s expanding green energy landscape.
