Trident Limited has officially informed stock exchanges regarding the incorporation of a new domestic wholly owned subsidiary, named Trident Global Industries Limited, following approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on August 17, 2026.

The regulatory filing details that Trident Global Industries Limited was incorporated on August 17, 2026, in India, with an initial subscription of Rs. 5,00,000 in cash consisting of 50,000 equity shares at a face value of Rs. 10 each. Trident Limited holds 100% of the share capital. The primary objective behind setting up this subsidiary is to enhance brand presence, drive brand-building, execute sales, marketing, and business development initiatives, and market Trident products efficiently in overseas markets.

Trident Limited operates prominently within the textile industry (including home textiles and yarn) as well as the paper and chemicals sector. In recent corporate updates from 2025 and 2026, the company held its 36th Annual General Meeting where shareholders approved key resolutions including NCD issuances and an employee stock option plan (ESOP 2026). Furthermore, the company strengthened its leadership by designating Mr. Pardeep Kumar Markanday as the Chief Executive Officer (Yarn) for Punjab and Madhya Pradesh. On the capital market front, a notable block trade worth ₹323.7 crore occurred on the NSE involving approximately 130 million shares of Trident.

For the full financial year 2025-2026, Trident Limited registered a total revenue of ₹6,758.07 Crores, marking a minor shift of -3.80% year-on-year, while posting a net profit of ₹376.06 Crores, reflecting a 2.52% year-on-year increase and a net profit margin of 5.56%. The company continues to maintain robust institutional interest and broad public shareholding, backed by professional governance structures, prominent marquee investors, and comprehensive sustainability and digital transformation initiatives under its Industry 4.0 roadmap.
