Refex Industries Limited has officially disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations that it has bagged a significant slab-wise rate contract for the transportation of ash from an entity based in Maharashtra. The contract size is valued at approximately INR 40.42 Crores, inclusive of GST, and is slated for execution over a period of 12 months on a domestic basis.
Refex Industries Limited operates as a prominent business entity primarily engaged in the industrial gases and chemicals sector, with a strong focus on refrigerant gases catering to refrigeration, air conditioning, and various manufacturing applications. In developments throughout 2025 and 2026, the company expanded its footprint by securing major infrastructure-linked logistics orders, such as transporting pond ash for highway and national road developments, while actively building out its robust order book across its ash and coal handling divisions. Management has highlighted a strong overarching order book trajectory alongside contributions coming into effect from renewable energy segments like wind power.
During the recent quarterly financial results announced for the period ending March 2026 (Q4 FY25-26), Refex Industries reported total income/revenue of INR 938.10 Crores, displaying strong upward momentum. The company’s profitability scaled substantially, with Profit Before Tax reaching INR 147.98 Crores and a net profit after tax touching INR 94.45 Crores. Earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter stood at INR 6.54. The company counts various institutional investors and public shareholders among its equity holders, maintaining solid fundamental growth supported by effective operational efficiencies and cost management strategies.
