Krishna Defence and Allied Industries Limited has formally announced an official business update disclosing that it has bagged a domestic contract from the Ministry of Defence. The order entails the supply of specialized steel products valued at approximately Rs. 20.00 Crores, inclusive of applicable taxes.

According to the regulatory disclosure, the newly secured contract falls under general contract conditions and does not constitute a related party transaction. The execution timeline designated for the completion and delivery of these special steel products spans a period of 19 months. The awarding entity holds no promoter or promoter group affiliations or interests within the company, ensuring an arm’s length domestic engagement.

Established with a strong footprint in precision engineering, Krishna Defence and Allied Industries Limited operates cutting-edge manufacturing facilities situated in Halol and Kalol, Gujarat, catering to diverse verticals including defence, security, dairy equipment, and mega kitchen systems. The company achieved significant strategic milestones during 2025, including completing its migration to the main board of the National Stock Exchange and expanding its manufacturing capacities for shipbuilding steel sections. Furthermore, the company established a joint venture with Netherlands-based VABO Composites to manufacture marine composite structures for the Indian Navy and scaled its stake in Waveoptix Defence Solutions to bolster its indigenous electronics and tactical product offerings.

For the financial performance reported during fiscal 2025, the company registered stellar growth, achieving an annual revenue from operations of Rs. 194.87 Crores, marking an exceptional 83.1% year-on-year growth compared to the preceding year. Profit after tax for FY25 surged significantly by 123.9% to reach Rs. 21.92 Crores, supported by enhanced EBITDA margins of 15.6%. The robust financial momentum highlights strong operational execution and a swelling order backlog. The promoter group, led by Managing Director Mr. Ankur Ashwin Shah, maintains a dominant shareholding block steering the strategic expansion of the enterprise.
