Aptech Limited has formally announced the receipt of a new work order from a State Government body. The contract involves the execution of a skill development training program, with operations projected to commence in August 2026. The total estimated value of this project is Rs 4.79 crores.

This development marks a continued strategic pivot for Aptech towards government-led projects and institutional business, aimed at diversifying its revenue streams away from a heavy reliance on the retail training segment. By securing fixed-fee contracts through state-level tenders, the company seeks to improve revenue visibility and stabilize cash flows in a competitive educational landscape. This win reinforces Aptech’s credibility as a preferred partner for government-backed skill initiatives under the broader national mission for vocational training.

Established in 1986, Aptech Limited is a pioneer in the non-formal vocational training sector, operating over 747 centers globally. The company offers diverse training across IT, media, entertainment, retail, aviation, beauty, and banking through brands such as Arena Animation, MAAC, and Aptech Learning. Recent updates from 2025 include the launch of India’s first industry-ready 3D printing course in collaboration with WOL3D in October 2025, highlighting its continued focus on emerging technologies.

For the quarter ended March 2026, Aptech reported revenue of Rs 114.95 crores and a net profit of Rs 1.78 crores. The company has historically been associated with the late billionaire investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and his family, who have held significant stakes in the firm. Please note that consistent with recent trends, the company has been focused on managing operational costs amid a shifting ed-tech environment.
