HEC Infra Projects Limited has officially informed the National Stock Exchange regarding the receipt of a new work order from M/S Powergrid Corporation of India Limited. This notification, submitted in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, outlines a project valued at Rs. 11.89 crores.

The newly awarded project involves comprehensive design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning work. Specifically, the contract focuses on the augmentation of transformation capacity at the 400/220 kV Jaipur South (PG) substation, which includes the installation of a 1×500 MVA, 400/220 kV ICT along with associated bays. The company is expected to complete this domestic project within a timeframe of 15 months. HEC Infra Projects has confirmed that this contract is not a related party transaction and that no promoter or promoter group entities hold any interest in the awarding authority.

HEC Infra Projects Limited is an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor specializing in electro-mechanical and instrumentation projects. The company serves a diverse portfolio of government and private clients, maintaining “Class A” registration with the Roads and Building Department of the Government of Gujarat and Class-1 registration with the Central Public Works Department. Recent updates highlight the company’s expanding presence in the transmission infrastructure sector, supported by its ability to secure major orders such as the recent Powergrid contract. The management aims to leverage these opportunities to scale operations and is actively pursuing similar projects in other states.

For the quarter ending December 2025, the company reported revenue of Rs. 57.35 crores, demonstrating strong operational momentum. Net profit for the same period stood at Rs. 2.92 crores. The company has shown consistent year-on-year growth, with the December 2025 net profit reflecting a significant increase of approximately 103.7% compared to the same quarter in the previous year. While HEC Infra Projects maintains a high promoter holding of 74.93%, other notable investors include individual shareholders and corporate entities such as Sumanju Projects & Services Limited.
