Supreme Petrochem Ltd (SPL) has officially announced the successful commissioning of its EPS-Phase II expansion project at the Amdoshi Plant in Nagothane, Maharashtra. This strategic move has significantly increased the company’s total production capacity for Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) from 85,000 TPA to 1,15,000 TPA. The project was completed to address the rising demand in key sectors such as packaging and construction.
The expansion involved a capital investment of Rs. 54 crores, which was entirely funded through the company’s internal accruals. Prior to this expansion, the Amdoshi plant was operating at a capacity utilization of 75%. The commissioning of Phase II is expected to strengthen SPL’s market position by meeting the projected growth in the cold supply chain and infrastructure segments.
