Polyplex Corporation Limited announced on March 25, 2026, that its Board has approved an investment of up to ₹1,100 Lakh in Clean Max Neht Private Limited. This investment will secure an approximately 49% equity stake in the SPV, which is dedicated to supplying solar power to Polyplex’s Khatima and Bazpur facilities. The transaction will be executed in cash and is part of the company’s broader strategy to transition toward sustainable energy sources.

The project is slated for completion within a one-year timeframe following the finalization of the Share Subscription and Shareholders’ Agreement. By investing in this SPV, Polyplex aims to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply of renewable energy, thereby reducing its carbon footprint and adhering to captive power regulations. The company clarified that this is not a related party transaction.

Clean Max Neht Private Limited is a subsidiary of CleanMax, India’s largest renewable energy provider for the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector. In 2025, CleanMax achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 3 GW of operational capacity and maintaining a market share of approximately 8% in new open access solar additions. The group has strategic partnerships with global brands like Apple and Toyota Tsusho.

Polyplex’s latest quarterly financials for the period ending December 2025 showed a revenue of ₹1,682 Crore, which is a 6.2% decrease compared to the ₹1,794 Crore reported in the September 2025 quarter. Net profit stood at ₹30 Crore for the December quarter. The company continues to have a diversified shareholding pattern, with renowned investor Dolly Khanna holding 363,772 shares in 2025.
