Harrisons Malayalam Limited (HML), a prominent part of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, is one of India’s oldest and largest integrated agricultural operations, with a legacy spanning over 150 years. Headquartered in Kochi, the company is a leading producer of natural rubber and tea, operating 13 tea estates and 11 rubber plantations across Kerala and Tamil Nadu. In recent 2025 updates, the company designated new senior management leaders for its finance and tea business divisions to strengthen its leadership team. Despite its strong market position, HML has been navigating challenges in 2025, including a new civil suit filed by the Government of Kerala regarding land ownership in certain estates and a reported mismatch where current liabilities have exceeded current assets. The company remains a critical exporter of quality tea to European markets and continues to focus on sustainable plantation practices through certifications like Rainforest Alliance and Trustea. Notable individual investors in the company include Hitesh Ramji Javeri and Harsha Hitesh Javeri, who together hold approximately 5% of the public shareholding as of late 2025.
