BKM Industries Limited has officially fixed February 14, 2026, as the “Record Date” to give effect to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) orders dated November 14, 2025, and December 4, 2025. This action is a critical step in the implementation of the company’s approved resolution plan under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), involving the restructuring of the company’s equity share capital. The restructuring follows the NCLT’s final corrective orders, which addressed clerical errors in shareholding details without changing the overall public shareholding percentage originally envisioned in the plan.

BKM Industries operates in specialized sectors including naval design services, shipbuilding, and offshore engineering alongside its core packaging business. In 2025, the company’s focus remained heavily on regulatory compliance and the successful execution of its turnaround strategy through the CIRP. The Monitoring Committee, in its meeting on January 20, 2026, confirmed that all legal impediments to the implementation of the resolution plan have been cleared.

The company’s most recent financial reporting for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, showed a revenue from operations of ₹19.93 lakhs (₹0.1993 crore), which remained flat compared to the previous quarter. The company reported a net loss of ₹8.86 lakhs (₹0.0886 crore) for the September 2025 quarter, an increase from the ₹2.02 lakhs loss in the June 2025 quarter. Notable investors in the company include ICICI Bank Ltd, which held a 4.72% stake as of the September 2025 shareholding pattern. Other major shareholders listed in 2025 records include Basant Kumar Agarwal (16.64%) and Navneet Manaksia (9.54%).
