Tembo Global Industries Limited has officially announced the acquisition of 2,90,62,305 equity shares of Tembo Classic Engineering Private Limited (formerly known as Tembo Defense Products Private Limited). This strategic move results in the company holding a 75.09% majority stake in the entity, effectively making it a subsidiary. The total cost of this acquisition is approximately Rs. 60.57 Crores.
The acquisition represents a significant deepening of Tembo Global’s foray into the rapidly growing Indian defense manufacturing sector. This move is consistent with the company’s long-term growth plan and positions it strongly within the rising defense ecosystem. Following the transaction, Tembo Global will take a leading role in managing operations and driving the subsidiary’s geographical expansion.
Tembo Global Industries, incorporated in 2010, is a prominent manufacturer and fabricator of steel products and a provider of HVAC and anti-vibration solutions. In 2025, the company secured a massive order worth ₹7,000 Crores, more than six times its market capitalization at the time. Furthermore, its subsidiary recently received a Defense Manufacturing Licence from the Government of Maharashtra to establish a small arms manufacturing facility, a milestone following an MoU signed at the World Economic Forum 2025 in Davos.
For the quarter ended September 2025, the company reported a consolidated revenue of ₹249.89 Crores, marking a significant 44.05% jump from the same period in the previous year. The net profit for the same quarter surged by 37.72% YoY to reach ₹20.08 Crores. Notable investors and major shareholders include Fatema Shabbir Kachwala (15.9%) and Managing Director Sanjay Jashbhai Patel (7.59%). Additionally, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) significantly increased their stake to 8.62% by December 2025.
